Easter Olympics

Happy Easter everyone.

Now that we have reached early evening on Easter Monday I can safely say that Easter is over for yet another year.

I hope that you have had a great Easter I know I have.

Today was a big family celebration at The Jungalow. Both Ben and Sarah came with their respective families for Easter tea and Easter Olympics. The mother unit was in the mix as well haha, so there have been 10 people at the Jungalow this afternoon.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their alternative egg hunt, which was 6 different games with an Easter theme.

I had made and awarded medals at the end of the games. Then it was inside for afternoon tea.

It was really nice to actually get outside to do the games as the sun was shining and it was quite warm. I had set the games up inside just in case, but I transferred them outside when the skies cleared.

The children had their own table filled with foods they would eat which left the adults to tuck into a homemade corned beef pie, sausage rolls, home-cooked gammon, fairy cakes and fruit salad. Accompanied with potato salad, coleslaw, crisps, pickled onion that sort of thing.
