Dressing table makeover

Well, it has been one of those types of days today, out for lunch, a visit from Sarah and Leighton and it is only now that I am settling down to some peace and quiet.

Sarah and Leighton came around this morning and I had to inform them that I was going out at 12 o'clock. She said she didn't mind staying whilst I was out because I knew I would only be a couple of hours tops and she hadn't seen much of me over the last three weeks.

So I got myself ready and left to pick mum and sue up around 12.10.

However, whilst I was out Sarah decided that she would rearrange my bedroom. I don't have a problem with that as she has a good eye for design.

When I returned from my outing she had been busy. She had noticed that I was standing up to put my makeup on this morning, so she had brought the dressing table down from the princess tower and I have to say that it looks great, she had to move my huge mirror and laundry basket but it looks well. I have now been given the task of painting it white so that it will blend in with the rest of the stuff.

So Mum, Sue and I went to the Hole in the Wall pub on the market square for our lunches today. It was actually my turn to host but Jeff took himself off to the Newcastle match so we decided to have the weekend off and go out for a meal. I had roast beef and mum and sue had lamb. It was very nice and not too badly priced at £10.95 ahead.

Following on from my schpiel about my dieting yesterday, today I have calorie counted my Sunday lunch and also allowed myself a few snacks to fall within the 1000 calories I have allocated each day. I have to say my eating window has just closed as I opened it early because we were out. I guess I will see if I can cope with nothing more to eat until 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon YIKKKKEEESSS.
