Double, double toil & trouble

Well, the Halloween weekend is in full swing. More and more houses are being decorated this year and the Americanisms associated with the event are being Anglosised.

I was babysitting last night for Sarah and was pleased to be invited to stay on for a cheeky gin and lemonade when they came in from the Cricket Club. So I finally crawled into my bed at 1.15 haha.

I have had a very lazy laid back day so far today, having visited the mother unit for a coffee this morning I have mooched about this the afternoon.

However, Sarah rang to say that her next-door neighbours were having a Halloween Party and had invited me along. Now at the beginning of this weekend, I was facing a very quiet time but now it is shaping up to be a very sociable one. So the invitation was delivered and accepted I went up into the Princess tower in search of a suitable costume to wear tonight.

After some searching, I have come up with a rather fetching wig and matching hat with a black veil and three large spiders. I may wear my full-length black gloves if I feel like it and I now have to find a black top to go with my black jeans.

No doubt there will be plenty of pictures taken tonight which I will post tomorrow.

I have not received the pampering pictures I mentioned yesterday yet, but as soon as I can get hold of them I will post them on the blog. The ones I am most interested in are the ones that show the process of eyelash perming.

Just a brief note about the wreath masterclass. If you are interested please don't wait around to decide you want to take part. I have already had several bookings for the 24th November, as yet the 17th November is still available with a few slots left for the 24th.
