This morning I was up early to make sure that I was ready to go straight to my SAT's invigilating job at Polam Hall School this morning.
Harry arrived slightly jittery and I spent a lot of time before the shool run trying to convince him that it would be fine.
After I had dropped the boys off I headed for Polam Hall, I have to say the school traffic was heavier than I had anticipated so I arrived at school with just minutes to spare. I was lead to a corridor of 50 yr6 children all chattering nerviously.
At 9.30 with all the children seated alphabetically in 3 locations the grammar paper began. This was 45 mins and with only a little break the spelling paper was administered. I felt for one girl sitting at the front as she completed her paper with minutes to spare and was checking her answers when she discovered two pages had stuck together, needless to say she only had time to answer one of the five questions on those pages such a shame. It was all over and I was walking back to my car by 10.45, so not a onerous day for me really. So I will be back at Polam on Wednesday for the maths papers. I will be interested to see what is on these papers and hopeful Harry will be ok with them.
Around midday I found myself at my dentists. I had requested the consultation as my remaining 2 crowns didn't feel quiet right.
A couple of xrays later showed that my crowns were fine but the gums had collapsed on the sides where I had extractions causing pockets which were the root of my problems.
I am not sure what he put on them but it seems to have done the trick.
As a reward to myself I am going to take myself off to Elmridge garden centre. After my weedng marathon yesterday I have got some tempting spaces to fill haha.
