Don't give up the day job haha.

Well, here we are at the end of another week and into June to boot.

Each day of the week has certain things that happen like clockwork, the mundane that keeps my world ticking along.

The school run, the school collection, Friday shopping trip with the mother unit that sort of thing. So of course it being Friday saw all of the above enter my day.

I told the mother unit that I would need to be home shortly after 12 as someone was coming to collect the greenhouse that I had for sale and I still had the final tidying up piece of my house prep jigsaw to complete, namely the pigging out of the craft room.

But at 2 o'clock something different cropped up........ I had a phone call from Sarah asking me to go up to the school to wait for the coach to come back from Carlton Lodge and then take Harry home. When I arrived we were told that there were two coaches and that one was on time and the other was 20 mins or so behind. I mentally told myself that Harry would be on the second coach and he was haha. But on a serious note, the coach he was travelling in hit a brick wall and damaged the coach so much that it had to be replaced hence the delay. The children were fine and had an exciting tale to tell about the end of their adventure.

Whilst I was shopping this morning I purchased a mirror for the garden. Now, I have always had a mirror hanging in the garden because I like the reflections it casts, so this afternoon I hung the mirror, I think it looks cool, what do you think?

The lead picture today is the efforts that I made to repair the possible hedgehog home that I destroyed yesterday. As you can see it looks pretty snug but it is clear that the hedgehog was not impressed with my house-building skills, which is a shame really.

Harry and his dad have been raving about the Netflix series called Stranger Things. I watched and thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 series and had not gotten around to watching the latest series, well tonight was the night I sat down and watched two episodes of the new series and I have to say whilst a bit spooky in places it is a great watch.

Tomorrow I will be welcoming John and Irene to the Jungalow for a short break I think it is on the way home from a short holiday away or it could be on the way to said holiday, haha, but it will be nice to see them as I haven't seen them since 2019.
