Easter is nearly upon us. Last year, as in most of our celebratory events we were in lockdown, so couldn't get together. As we have emerged from this last lockdown I am excited that Ben and his family will be joining me for Easter Sunday lunch with garden activities for the children weather permitting. As we are all now having lateral flow tests things should be on track for a nice weekend.
Last look at the craft room before it moves to its new space. It will mean that I will have to pack up a lot of the stuff for a couple of weeks, hope I don't get craft withdrawal symptoms haha.
I am a regular in my children's child care bubble, picking them up from school and having them stay at my house post school pick up, I thought it only wise to see if I could access some lateral flow test kits. Both my children also have testing kits as they are still out in the workplace and not old enough yet for the vaccine. It was a simple process and it seems that indeed I am eligible so these arrived this morning. I will be testing on a Sunday and Wednesday for the foreseeable future. My second covid vaccination is due at the beginning of May although the mother unit has hers this Friday lunchtime. I had heard that second vaccinations could cause more side effects, hope not, I guess we will have to wait and see.
