I will come back to this little conundrum in a little while haha.
This morning I was up again with the alarm, it is heavenly to think that after next Wednesday I will not be up with the alarm until school starts again in September - bliss.
After the school run with only Harry as Leighton is getting better but is still having bouts of sickness and diarrhoea, I went to pick the mother unit up for our weekly assault on the shops.
As I was waiting for a yodel delivery, which was only 10 stops away from my house - allegedly, we went back to the Jungalow for a coffee. The parcel was soon delivered - what was it you may ask? it was the artificial Wonderwall for my new garden space.
Speaking of the new garden space it is now called Dots' She Shed (not to be confused with a man cave haha). There is appropriate signage winging its way to me as I type haha.
Back to the tangle of metal bits in the lead picture. Did anyone have time to think about what it might be????? Well, it is an obelisk which I have bought to train my raspberry canes over. There have been quite a few structures for this purpose but I felt that a posh one was needed to go with the rest of the garden upgrade. I think you will agree it is much better.
Mum and I went into Cockerton Village first thing this morning. I went to pick up a parcel and mum wanted to look in the St Teresa Hospice Charity Shop.
Whilst she was in there she got her eye fixed on a mobility walker. Now she has always, up until now, resisted the purchase of such an item claiming they were for older people, hello mother you're 90, but this morning she was quite taken and promptly bought it. As you can see she looks as pleased as punch with it haha.
The nice thing is that it is lightweight and she can sit down on it if she gets tired. This is the first step, the next one is to get rid of the 3 yes 3 heavy wheelchairs which she has in her garage.
Now, most people collect ornaments or nik naks that sort of thing but the mother unit collects wheelchairs. We are looking for a lite weight aluminium one which is easy to fold and get into the boot of a car.
So whilst I was in the charity shop I asked If they took wheelchairs in and they said they did so problem solved, the mother has a new walker and we can finally get rid of the ever-growing mountain of wheelchairs in her garage haha.
Last September I blogged about the wedding I attended for my cousin's daughter Sophie. It was the one I made the cake for. Well, this morning she surprised me early doors, 7.20, to be precise with the news that she is to become a mammy in January, so congratulations to her and Simon.
