Well, today being Sunday I have managed only 2 of the list opposite. I did have lye in this morning and a cup of tea.
However, when I did get up at 9.15 I grabbed my notepad and some cereal and headed into the conservatory to take part in the Great garden bird watch.
Actually the little bird house I put up on Friday must have been advertised on Zoopla haha as it got a good few interested viewings from the Blue Tits. After sitting for an hour I logged onto the RSPB website and reported my findings.
So the results of the Jungalow Jury are as follows:-
Blackbirds - 2,
Robin - 1,
Wood Pigeons - 3
Magpie - 1,
Coal tit - 2,
Blue tit - 3,
Collared dove - 1,
House sparrow - 2.
The other day Sarah told me about a play date that she was planning for Dave the Labrador. Apparently for the princely sum of £1, you can take your dog to a secure field on the outskirts of town and let them run around for 1 hour. Sarah had planned this outing with several friends and it happened this morning. Now ever so often Sarah likes to bath the dog, but he is getting to big for her to handle so she has tended to bring him around to my place to put him in my shower. I am not best pleased about this as the dog runs around the Jungalow afterwards shaking himself and bashing into things. So today after his play date he was a little muddy and I girded my loins in preparation for the phone call to ask if she could bring him for his bath. It didn't come, instead a range of photographs showing the new do it your self dog grooming parlour which has just opened at Pets are Us came instead. I have to say it looks marvellous, although the look on Dave's face when Harry is trying to dry him with the drier is priceless.
