This is the colour of the new she shed. It is called spring rosemary.
This morning I broke into the second tin as I attempted to complete the painting of the old garage frame.
I am having to give the rafters several coats of paint as the very dark cedar colour is bleeding through. But the back half of the space is now complete and I only have a couple of coats to apply to the front rafters.
Around 7.45 this morning Harry and Leighton were delivered to me as their dad had to go for a meeting. Harry is not well at the moment and spent the morning lying on my bed, whilst leighton was in the lounge watching tv. I took the opportunity to get out and paint. But the weather this morning was very strange and I felt that it might start raining at any moment. Eventully around 11.30 I came in to sort out the boys with some lunch before taking them home.
The rain has not materilised so I am going to go back outside and continue painting. I managed to get a base coat on most of the frame so it shouldn't take long to finish.
I hung the other mirror also this morning and i have bought an outside rug for the space.
Back in March, I was having a great deal of trouble with my new car. The clock was freezing, the phone was connecting to bogus calls, the radio stopped working etc etc.
So Bristol Street Motors replaced the electronic media unit at a cost of £2,500, luckily it was still under warranty. The unit worked okay for a while but here we are in July and the unit is again playing up. I even have to shut my phone down completely to disconnect from the car. The other day I was talking to Ben about it and he suggested that I completely disconnect my mobile which is paired to the car and leave it for a few days and see what happens. His thinking was that I should rule out if the phone is the problem, as I may incur a charge from the garage for wasting time haha. So with out delay I disconnected the mobile pairing and left it off for four days, it is amazing how you rely on handsfree when driving.
Anyway, the upshot is that the car media unit is running perfectly with out my phone paired to it. So I have reconnected my phone and so far touch wood it is completely fine. Having sort of proved that it was the connectivity from my mobile, I rang the garage to talk to them, as I had the car booked in for them to have a look at it on Friday. The upshot of the conversation is that I cancelled the service appointment and will wait to see if it does it again. As I am getting rid of the car soon I am hopeful that I don't have to put it in the workshop after all.
