Over the last 3 days, I have been toiling away in the garden.
I have got to the last part of the She Shed makeover, namely the replacing of the rather dangerous and very uneven crazy paving.
I had attempted to cut some corners, by advertising the stone crazy path on Facebook Marketplace, I was honest enough to tell them that it was beautifully weathered stone but was actually still a path which they would have to lift themselves.
I had a couple of interesting texts but nothing came of them. I then remembered that Sarah had suggested that I reuse the stones and make a crazy stone herb garden. So, folks, that is what I have been doing over the last couple of days.
At one point as I was wheedling the sledgehammer, a thought flashed through my head, it went something like this, "Dot, you are 68 years old do you really think that you should be doing this!!!!?" Anywhere I sent that little voice packing and carried on haha.
So the pictures today start with the original path and end with the path prepped for the gravel which is being delivered on Tuesday. I have now got the job of filling said planter with soil and planting the herbs which I have purchased today. They are just sitting in the planter to keep them safe.
So yet again I am knackered and will be sitting down and relaxing for the rest of the night haha.
