It has been a very quiet week overall, but that's not a bad thing to be fair.
Having spent most of my week indoors haha, I ventured out to attend a Coffee & Cake event for McMillan Cancer Support.
It was held in the community centre at School Aycliffe.
I was accompanied by Sarah who kindly agreed to chauffeur both Rita and myself to the event.
We met up with Jonica and enjoyed homemade soup and a roll and for me sticky toffee pudding.
It was the first time that the community committee had hosted a paid luncheon for the event. So excellent homemade food for the princely sum of £10.
Also throughout the morning, there were raffles, tombola and a few craft stalls to entice us to dig deep into our pockets for the charity. I won a bottle of prosecco and a pair of Halloween socks in the raffle haha.
For the first three days of this last week, I was in charge of my littlest fur baby Frank. I have to say he was a bit of a monkey and showed me in no uncertain terms that he was bored when he decided to help me with some paper shredding haha. As you can see from the photo evidence butter wouldn't melt in his mouth and of course, having had a busy time in the office it was time for a nap.
And that folks is the sum total of my exciting weeks haha. Next week, however, that's a different prospect so have a good week and I will see you next time.
Some Halloween fun for you
