Cheep cheep little bird...

Let me tell you if I could find Far Far Away I would be on the next bus judging by the day I have put in.

First off was the re-introduction of the school run, so I had to be out of the Jngalow quiet smartish. However the car was frozen solid, so it took a while of sitting in the car heaters blowing to defrost the windows before we could leave. Then of course there was my Auntie Alices walker taking up the boot and half of the back seat. So I had to go a different way to school to allow both boys to exit the car safely.

Then it was the mother unit's turn, she had an appointment at the doctors for her B12 injection. Whilst she was there she asked the nurse to do a urine test on her. And that folks was a laugh a minute haha. Then it was home to swap one old dear for another. I took my Auntie Alice into town to go dress hunting part 2. Needless to say, all the sparkly party dresses had gone in the sale a month ago. So we returned empty-handed. A phone call this afternoon confirmed that the mother unit has indeed got a water infection.

When I got in from shopping with Auntie Alice mum told me that there was a bird trapped in the bungalow.

She said it keeps cheeping. So we waited and sure enough, there was a cheeping sound. We did laugh when I told her it was the dying battery on her smoke alarm. So we have arranged for the fire brigade to come out tomorrow to change it. I don't think it will be Fireman Sam as Pontypandy is a long way off haha.

Tonight I have made myself a very tasty chicken curry for my tea. I put it in the slow cooker this morning and by 5 o'clock it was ready, yum yum. I will be going to Mum's for a game of cards, which this week will include my Auntie in the mix, I can't wait.

Sarah and Lee found out today which secondary school Harry will be going to in the Autumn, He was lucky enough to get hs first choice, well done Harry. They are going out for tea tonight to celebrate.
