Cheeky chappie

Well, that wasn't me today. I shed my PJ's early and was up and around the mother units by 9.00 earning millions of brownie points. So what was I doing at such an early hour? Changing beds. My Auntie Alice has gone to my cousins to share the love for a few days and mum took the opportunity to change all the bedding. Sue helped her yesterday sort her bed out so I said I would help with Auntie Alice's bed today.

All done and dusted and on my way back home by 10.30 result.

This afternoon I took myself off to Elm Ridge Garden Centre to purchase some plants. Yesterday I told you that the wild strawberries just had to go, so with that in mind, I bought 8 new cultivated strawberry plants and got them into place this afternoon. I also bought some Saxifraga plants and a curry plant. I really enjoyed getting the soft fruit and veg patch cleared and planted up and of course, I had some help from this cheeky chappie.

Yet again tonight I have endured another end of year Governors meeting, this time for Hurworth School. I have to say even though it last 2 hours it wasn't as intense as the Polam Hall one. But that is it until October whoop whoop. The next meetings are likely to be in person and not on Teams or Zoom which will be so much better.

Tonight I have been watching this movie on Plex it is a 2021 production with Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor in the main roles. The premise is that we are continually reincarnated, but most of us don't remember previous lives, but a small group of people remember every life they have had. Obviously, it is a good verse evil story which was a good watch.

Finally today I got the results of my blood test from my doctor. Last time, my diabetic bloods, were a very high 81, 45 to 48 being normal. So after 3 months and with my new diet regime, my blood sugar count is now 62 which is a great improvement and has got the doctor off my back haha.
