I hate that don't you. The way I see it is that you have three options.
Option One - continue on with your text which probably now doesn't make sense.
Option Two - Try to answer the text whilst not altering what you have laboured over in your original text
Option Three - delete the first text and start again, hoping that another text doesn't come through until you have finished haha.
I have to say I always go for option one and then send an answer to the incoming text separately. In that way, my brain doesn't get too bogged down.
Okay, this morning after the school run I rocked up at the mother units thinking she would just be happy with a quick jaunt around Aldi because she had Alan the decorator in sorting out her dining room, but not a bit of it, We squeezed the Poundland shop in as well. They have opened their clothing department called Pep & Co and whilst most things are what it says on the tin quality wise, the children Pj's were really good. So mum cleared 8 items off her Christmas list for her great-grandchildren. Now of course I get the task of wrapping them all. Whilst we were in the shop mum was trying out some of the Halloween costumes haha, she loved it.
This afternoon I was taxed with collecting some PCR covid tests for Sarah. Harry has been off all week with a cold and a cough but because he developed a cough the school won't allow him back until he has a negative PCR test result. Sarah carried out a lateral flow test two days ago and that was negative, so we will just have to see. As I was walking across the market square I was entertained by this jazz quartet. They were really good playing in the square to all the people at the cafes who were enjoying the sunshine. Once inside the Dolphin Centre, I was told that I could not get the PCR test there so a quick call to Sarah to inform her she was back to square one and would have to find somewhere that would do the test on Harry.
A couple of weeks ago mum received her new debit card to replace her current one that runs out next week. At the time she was told to put them to one side and we would destroy the old one, but my mother decided that she would sort it herself. Now she is partially sighted and yes you guessed it she cut up the new card and kept the old one. It didn't come to light until she was paying for her goods in a shop this morning. So whilst I was in town I had to go into her bank and try and order another card for her. Well, I am happy to report that it is all sorted phew.
