Carrot crazy

WelI, guess you could judge me as being crazy after my shopping spree today haha, but more of that in a little while.

This morning was a little different to the norm, as I only had one child to take to school.

So what happened to the other one, he was feeling unwell so climbed into my bed and remained there all day.

Whilst I took Leighton to school he was watching inane rubbish on the TV.

Because Leighton was on his own this morning he asked for a walking chaperone to the front gates, which I did and I had to stay at the gate and wave and blow kisses until he vanished around the side of the building. Tonight I repeated the process when I picked him up from school.

After dropping Leighton off I went to WestPark Aldi to see if I could get my annual collection of Kevin the Carrot. Apparently, they had been queuing around the building since 6.15 this morning. Needless to say, the main character from this years campaign Ebanana Scrooge was completely sold out across the 3 Aldi stores in Darington by 8.45. But I did manage to get a good selection for my collection haha.

The haul included Marcus Radishford, a snowman, the caterpillar cake, a carrot ghost, Kevin and his family. I also purchased a Christmas jumper for the dog haha. All I need now is a range of mugs to go with my everyday collection in the kitchen. Defo mad as a box of frogs lol.

An unusual site happened across the road today, as an elegant crane landed on the neighbour's roof. It sat for quite a while before it carried on with its journey.

Last night my second Wreath making class was a great success. Jonica and Rita made brilliant efforts and were motivated enough to take materials home to finish their wreaths when the time ran out. However, it was a little awkward as I still had no main lights so we were crafting by lamplight and going to the loo by candlelight haha. As yet I am still with no lights and no end in sight.
