Doesn't time fly when you are not paying attention haha. Yesterday I told you Leanne had been home from Thialand for a year, as Leanne is a blog reader of mine she texted me last night to tell me it was actually 3 years, which I guess makes it harder for my sister, sorry Leanne. But I am still going to piggy back if they ever visit you in Chiang Mia haha.
I was asked to go and pick the boys up at their home this morning as Sarah had to be in work for 6 o'clock, apparently there was a big job on and she was overseeing the work.
When I returned I got straight on to organising the refreshments for the final planning meeting of the Street Party Committee.
We got all of the stuff out that we had collected so that we could see if we needed any thing else, but we decided that we were good.
Next we worked out how many tables and chairs would be needed and which neighbours were going to supply them.
We also decided that we would ask the ladies if they would wear a tirara, crown or fascinator just for fun. When all the information was collated I typed it into a grid and copied enough out for the street and my 2 neighbours delivered them on ther way home to everyone one in the street. So now everyone is aware of who is doing what on the day so there should be no excuses.
Tonight I was eating at Sarahs and as we were waiting for our food we had a sneaky drink in the garden. Sarah has just gotten this chiminera so we were giving it a go and seasoning the internal surfaces to boot.
I have no idea why it is blue as it was very warm still. There was also a cricket match on, which made for interesting view as we sat in the garden.
