Actually, I could do with a couple of hot firemen racing up my drive at the moment, not that I would set the Jungalow on fire to achieve it, haha I am not that desperate. So I will have to make do with my Joiner with his questionable bum cleavage on show, (I was tempted to ask him to wear trousers that covered all of him when he returns lol) or there is my builder Alan so one is far from tempted haha. So close of play today has got the electric supplied pulled through the roof void into the new kitchen. So slow progress but I have told him that I am working on having it completed by the end of April.
Completed my second lateral flow test this morning and as expected it was negative. So I have been on the gov website to add my results to the database. They are not pleasant to do but they make me feel so much safer if that makes sense.
As the clear out of my kitchen cupboards comes to a close. I was saddened and heartened at a find which was tucked away for a special occasion. Dave and I received this bottle of pink fizz at a Ruby Wedding luncheon from my sister and her husband. Of course, it would have been Dave and I's Sapphire wedding anniversary last September but c'est la vie. Anyway, I shall be putting it on ice in my new wine fridge to finally christen the new kitchen in due course. Cupboards now emptied and bleached to within an inch of their lives, don't want any embarrassing moments as the units are repositioned in the new kitchen.
So a busy doing nothing kind of day and now I am off to Sarahs with the promise of spaghetti bolognese for my tea yummy yummy.
