Bleeding lemon

This morning I thought since it is a nice day I will strip my bed and wash the bedding. Pretty straight forward task one might assume.

Now, I have never had this happen to me for years, not with new processes and the like, but the bedding bled colour into the rest of my wash.

As my current thing is Ochre coloured, which is a mustard yellow, lovely, I have everything this colour in my bedroom lampshades, cushions sheets pillowcases haha so you can imagine what happened.

Luckily I only put the sheets and pillowcases in with a few bits and bobs. Well the bits and bods did not fair well and are now strange colours and a white pair of knickers and two white strappy t-shirts are now lemon coloured haha.

I had promised mother a little outing today to make up for her not getting to go out yesterday. However, I decided to treat myself to a lie in this morning as there were no children to ferry about and completely forgot about said outing, until I got a phone call asking were I was.

So a quick sort out and I was out to pick up the mother unit. When we had finished shopping she asked to call at the fish shop for a bag of chips for our dinner. So 2 large floured baps filled with chips and a cup of tea later, we were sat in the garden in the sunshine.

I also got to meet my mothers new single neighbour Alistar. I went for a chat and he showed me around the bungalow and told me what he was going to be doing with it. I managed to slip into the conversation that I was on my own now haha. But he appears to be a very nice man.

Sarah remains in pain today, and looks and sounds awful. I don't think she had gotten much sleep last night, but we are at a loss as to why if there is nothing physically wrong with her is she still experiencing such pain. I have told her to go to A&E if she is no better tomorrow or even back to our GP's on Monday. She said that they couldn't do anything about it, but I reminded her that that was the advice of the hospital yesterday if she was not feeling any better.

Ben has just texted me from Fuerteventura to say that they will be going to the airport around 6.30. It seems so quick that their holiday is now over.

By all accounts they have had a great time all-be-it a little quiet. Apparently Ben was saying that the season doesn't start properly until next Monday. But for me the hotel being that bit quieter would be a good thing.
