Black Friday still no lights

Well, today is Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday, for me this means nothing. I don't go out and spend money I don't need to just to get 20% off.

Unfortunately, my internet and email service doesn't know that as I have been bombarded with adverts from every company imaginable this morning. Still not tempted though.

However, the school that my son's children go to have conveniently scheduled a teacher training day for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I thought that was a coincidence but on mentioning it to Ben this morning I was told that the teaching staff at Byerley Park in Aycliffe always schedule their training days on Black Friday and Cyber Monday - mmmmmm that can't be right.

Ben and Robyn came to visit me this morning, Robyn because she hadn't seen her nana Dot for a long time and Ben to see if he could track down the fault on my electrical system. Robyn and I busied ourselves in putting stamps on my Christmas cards and then taking them to the post box to send them on their merry way, whilst Ben dropped the 26 spotlights (I thought there were only 22 lights but I forgot to count the four in the bathroom haha). He disconnected each spot in turn and then we tried to reset the system but each time was a bust. So 26 spots down and checked and we still can't find the problem.

But the upshot is that I have now got 26 dangling spotlights. Ben has gone off to speak to his electrician friend and apprise him of the situation and hopefully, I will be able to get it fixed over the weekend.

Yet again I am preparing for another craft fayre tomorrow. This one is at Polam Hall School and starts at 10 o'clock and finishes at 1 o'clock.
