Bambudda

Unfortunately I do not have the choice to do nothing today as it is my turn to host Sunday Lunch.

Mind you I am feeling a little jaded after being out with Ben and Nikki last night. And this morning my head is a tad fuzzy, but of course that's what Tiger Beer and Gin will do for you haha.

Even though we didn't stay out late, I think we were back in by 10.30, we certainly had a good time.

Last night we couldn't get a taxi for love nor money, but my lovely brother in law Jeff came riding to the rescue and dropped us off at the restaurant, then the bonus came when he told us to ring him when we wanted to come back home. Thank you so much Jeff it made a lot of difference.

The restaurant (Bambudda) was really nice and the food was amazing. Through the week you can get cheaper set meals but on a weekend it is the Ala Carte selections. In the end, to make it easy, we just ordered the Emperor Banquet for 3 people. So a sharing basket of goodies including spare ribs, prawn toast, chicken satay, spring rolls and seaweed was our first course, followed by Duck pancakes, then steak in black bean sauce, pork and chilli, seasonal Chinese vegetables and the biggest king prawns I have ever seen. Like I said the venue was great and the food delicious.

So after lunch today, I am rewarding myself with a quiet afternoon and evening, just to make sure that I am fully recovered from Covid. Tomorrow I will start the hour a day maths tutoring of my oldest grandson as within two weeks of returning to school after the Easter holidays he will be straight into his SATs.
