Okay, I know, haha, but this is how I woke this morning, I can't decide if I had a good night's sleep or a restless one.
I spent 2 or 3 hours this morning in the garden again. I managed to get one of the tree stumps out and the rest of the retaining wall. I also dug out the soil which will allow the guy putting up my fence tomorrow to get on with the work without hindrance.
I have to say I was paggered when I came in to get ready for my day out at the Cricket Club in Feethams.
I had been invited to a Ladies Day at the club by Sarah and her friends. I didn't know what to expect, whether there would be a ladies' cricket match being played or what.
All I did know was that there would be prosecco and an afternoon tea. As it transpired there was a raffle, in which I won a large box of Ferrero Roche chocolates, and two girls one played an acoustic guitar and the other sang to entertain us.
I have to say it was a great event. I have only just got back in at 9.45 from a start of 3.30 haha hence the reason the blog is a little later today. I left Sarah at the club with her friends a little worse for wear, actually a lot worse for wear. I think that when she gets up extra early to go to work tomorrow she may be suffering.
Sarah won a free room hire for the club and promptly booked it for a big Halloween party, so that is something to look forward to in October. Also, I am on the guest list for another Ladies' Day in December.
