Automatic Boot - the way to go

So here we are at Friday again, they seem to be getting closer and closer, it seems you wake up on Monday and then suddenly you are getting ready to do the weekly shop with the mother unit and it is Friday morning again.

Mum and I called at B&Q this morning to have a look around their garden centre. As I mentioned yesterday my gardener Ian is reimagining one of the borders in the back garden and although he put a lot of plants and shrubs in yesterday I was on the lookout for some colourful additions today. Several tri-coloured heathers and some tapestry Huecaras later I feel that the border will look stunning come the spring and summer next year.

So I am still riding around in the Qashqai, don't get me wrong it is a lovely car with all its little gadgets on but it is huge. The garage rang me late this afternoon to inform me that they were about to repair my car and would I be okay to keep the courtesy car until tomorrow. As I am not going out tonight the answer was of course yes. So they will repair and wash my little car before I pick it up at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. One thing I will miss is the automatic closing boot lid so cool and useful.

Well, I had a salad for lunch and I have just had my dinner, so what did I have today - lasagna, garlic bread and a glass of very nice Cabinet Sauvignon. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have not been the least bit tempted to count the calories haha.

So whilst I have been finishing off the blog I have polished off the rest of the glass of wine and will be replenishing my glass in a short while before settling down to watch a film.

Sarah Lee and the boys are up in Newcastle tonight to watch a basketball match. She has just shared some pictures with me and the boys look well chuffed. I will share some with you tomorrow.
