Collecting my dreams would have been very useful today, as I seem to remember that I was dreaming about the story plot of my latest novel and feel sure that I had worked out how the hero and heroine get from New York to Switzerland. But of course, when I woke up it was all very fuzzy. Perhaps when I go to sleep tonight I will force myself to rethink the plot. Of course, I can always take a notepad and paper to jot things down when I wake to go to the loo in the night haha.
Anyway, dare I say Deja Vu, I was again back at the garage this morning with my brand new car which had developed a ticking noise over the weekend. I don't think it is serious but it is seriously annoying. Two engineers took it out and I was relieved to learn that they could indeed hear the annoying ticking. Unfortunately, they had not heard it before and so deemed that a day in the shop was required for my car for them to investigate. If you remember when I got my new Eco Sport from Ford it only had 29 miles of the clock before it broke completely, and took them 9 months to mend. So here we are another new car and another problem, hopefully, this one is not serious and can be easily solved.
I have spent the rest of the day making blossoms and icing the bottom tier of the wedding cake for Sophie. I have to say I was thoroughly enjoying myself and after a couple of hours, the bottom tier was complete.
Tomorrow I will bake the zesty lemon curd and chocolate fudge layers ready to continue the icing marathon on Wednesday.
