And....I am back

Now that is what I call a cocktail haha.

I arrived back from my holiday in Cyprus at 2.30 a.m. on Monday morning.

Having left Cyprus with a temperature of 40 degrees through the day and 28 degrees at night, imagine how we felt when we landed at Newcastle Airport to 12 degrees haha.

The flight home was just short of 5 hours and by the time we landed, everyone was more than a little fractious. Sarah wasn't well to start with so landing in Newcastle was a great relief. The first thing the boys wanted was a Greggs sausage roll, which a kiosk in the airport provided happily.

The hotel was right on the strip in Ayia Napa which was very fortuitous. On the surface, the hotel looks idyllic, but I have to say that wasn't really the reality. The place had a general air of neglect and the food was horrendous. Consequently, although we had paid All Inclusive prices we ate out every night.

I have to say the bars did a fab range of cocktails.

We decided one day to venture out to sea on The Black Pearl. I have to say it was one of the highlights of the trip and a great day was had by all. Captain Jack Sparrow announced that Lee and Sarah's marriage was null and void before remarrying them pirate-style, which was hilarious.

Now this piece of kit was amazing. I bought it cheaply on Temu not holding my breath as to its worth.

However, I was pleasantly surprised. It not only kept my mobile phone free of sun tan cream but it took mean pictures underwater in the pool.

Yes, folks that is me doing a great impression of Aerial the little mermaid - not!!! But you get the gist of the potential.

This next picture is Leighton followed by Harry.

Now the wildlife in Cyprus is varied but these 2 beauties paid a visit to my sunbed - stunning

And finally a few mixed shots from around Ayia Napa

Finally its nice to be back.

Now for a bit more brain work my lovelies. Hidden somewhere in this picture of laughing people is a monkey......Happy hunting
