Today has been an enforced stay at home day. I told you yesterday about my son in law and grandchildren. As of 3 o'clock this afternoon, we are still awaiting results. So I don't know if it is business as usual from tomorrow or if I am self-isolating for another 7 days.
With that in mind, I have been nowhere so today's blog is about gardening haha. Rita asked me this morning if I would be going into the garden to do some weeding, I told her that I was running out of weeds to vamoose. Her next suggestion was a little bit frightening, she suggested that I clean out my garage, oh the horror, but actually not a bad shout, might get on to that tomorrow haha.
Whilst I was patiently riving out weeds I had been accompanied by the noise of busy bees. However, around lunchtime, the sound of buzzing became very loud indeed. In fact, when I looked up there was a whole swarm of them in the battle of Britain formation, haha, heading god knows were. I followed them around to the front of the Jungalow and noticed that they had congregated above one of my neighbours across the road. Good luck to that one Nancy.
So I have systemically worked my way around the garden weeding today, I thought I would treat you to a birds-eye view of the garden (always assuming that the bird was stood on my lawn haha)
This forlorn-looking chappie had just had a domestic with its partner which saw them squabbling all the way along the fence and into the Rowan Tree before she took off leaving him very bewildered on the back of the chair, however, don't fret people because she was back in the garden 10 mins later and they were friends again.
Over the last 5 weeks, I have been doing Delay Don't Deny fasting. Whilst I have gotten used to not eating until late afternoon I find it boring just drinking water. So I have found a product that I added to my water bottle which doesn't add anything other than flavour but makes water a little more palatable. The product is called Cold In'fuse and it is made by Twinings. This is my favourite flavour, Rose lemonade at the moment but I have just bought passion fruit, mango and blood orange, coconut pineapple & green tea and lemon-orange & ginger. That's only three different tea bags but with the combinations within each bag.
