Last night, well actually the early hours of this morning, I was awoken from sleep feeling very cold.

I still have a summer quilt on but last night I reached for the throw as well. I have to say I slept well after that and was toasty warm. It's always a bad sign when you start to layer up the bedding haha.

Well, I am exhausted, mentally and physically after today. I have spent the best part of seven hours standing cutting out individual blossoms for the wedding cake.

I am 2/3 rds the way through and should comfortably finish it tomorrow. Then it will have a further 36 hours or so to dry out further and firm up before the wedding reception.

The other week mum bought a very healthy looking fatsia plant in memory of my sister Sandra. So today I received in the post a little plaque I had ordered to stick in the pot with said plant. Mum was super happy with it and I had to read the verse several times for her. So, yet again my brownie point account has had a deposit.

Now I am going to sit, slob out, whatever in front of a Christmas Movie haha then probably have an early night.
