Oh, my days, yes it is Friday and yes it is shopping day with the mother unit the first one after her 3 weeks away.
I left my house this morning at 8.35, with the boys in tow heading not to school but back down to the children's house. So why are we not doing the normal school run, well Harry had forgotten his saxophone at home and his lessons were today.
So a quick jaunt down to Greener Drive and then back up to school two children, two backpacks and one saxophone.
After dropping the boys off I went straight to mothers. Getting there about 8.50. So my busy day continued.
Mum had asked me to deliver some cards to my cousin so that was our first port of call. An hour later and a cup of coffee we were again on the road. The next stop was my mums' sisters but luckily mum said she would stay in the car and I just ran in with the cards. That mission accomplished we set off for our shopping for real.
So a look around the new Next outlet and then into Home Bargains, before heading down to Aldi. We returned home at 2 o'clock, I was bushed. Mum then presented me with a lovely poinsettia which was a really lovely thought.
I have to say I have done nothing this afternoon as I was really knackered. This didn't bode well for the long journey I would have to be making tonight.
At approximately 5.30 I got in my car and started my journey to Bethlehem. Yes folks it is that time of the year and the bi-annual production of a Journey 2 Bethlehem began at 6 o'clock tonight. On arrival at the church I got into my costume before being handed my baby and then it was off to sit in the stable on a straw bale for a couple of hours.
We had 6 groups of children from the guides and brownies through tonight so we treated it as our dress rehearsal. Tomorrow however it is open to the public and by all accounts, it is going to be busy.
Judging by the busy day I have had I am now going to sit unashamedly in from of the Tv and Vote yet another celebrity out of the castle haha.
