3.30 snacking not a good idea

That was certainly me this morning as yet again I have had a broken nights sleep.

At 3.30 this morning I was up making myself a drink of hot milk, before going back to bed and trying to get over to sleep.

I have to say I had a weirdly vivid dream between 3.30 and 9 when I finally woke, involving opening the door in my bath towel to a burglar. Not very nice I have to say, so I don't know what is on my mind at the moment to make me dream like this.

I had a request from Sarah this morning. She was telling me that the boys were not handling the loss of Milly the cat and she was wondering if I could make them a memory cat. The idea is to half the favourite toy of the cat for me to place it inside the plush cats when I am stuffing them. I sourced a pattern but was not in the mood to start the project today. I will hopefully get a good nights sleep tonight and be fresh to start the cats tomorrow.

Mum and I had a lovely dinner this afternoon at Sue and Jeffs and it was decided that we would go out for our lunch next Sunday as Jeff is away, so that will be nice, we will probably try the Hole in the Wall in the Market Square, as their Sunday lunches are very good.

Over the last 18 months, I have been partaking in a zoom call most Sundays with my friends from the cruise ship the Braemar. Since coming back from Southwell we have only managed a couple of met ups as things are getting back to normal. But, tonight, I will be zooming in on them at 8 o'clock.

The Nissan garage called this morning but it was just to inform me that there was no new news with regard to my car. Hopefully, there will be a car to test drive sometime this week.

I watched the closing ceremony of the Olympic games this afternoon. I was so glad that I had taped it as I was able to run it forward. I have to say I was very disappointed, so roll on Paris, 2024.

So all in all a very quiet ordinary Sunday.
