11,000 steps today - unheard of for me

Been on double nana duties today.

Firstly I had Ben's two for a sleepover last night and I have to say it was 10.40 this morning before they got up haha, I was outside with my new dolly cart lifting the crazy paving, so got a lot done before I had to break off to get breakfasts.

After breakfast, I took the children into town to buy them some new trainers.

Then back home as I was expecting a delivery of a new Kamodo BBQ.

Around one o'clock we set off to Sarah's to pick her two boys up as we had a lane booked at the bowling alley at 1.30.

Of course, I was very surprised when I actually won the game haha.

After bowling, we decided that we would go to South Park and have a snack in the cafe near the bowling green and then onto the playground. So by 4 o'clock, I was ready for home.

When I arrived home my delivery had arrived and was dumped on the front path. It was in a huge box which was secured to a wooden palette.

The BBQ was so heavy, being a ceramic Kamodo BBQ that I was only able to build the stand for it and had to wait until Ben came to pick the children up before the main part of the BBQ could be put on the stand. It took both Ben and me to manhandle it into position. These beasts cost £499.00 in the shops but I got this beauty for £175 through Sarah's next-door neighbour.

Now all I have to do is learn how to use it and what I can cook on it. But it has a pizza stone, and features for roasting, grilling slow cooking and flame grilling. It has pride of place in the corner of the she shed haha.
